At the beginning of every year, we start accepting applications through our website for families in need.

Throughout the month of October, we work on building our “donor empire”. This means we go over our list of businesses otherwise known as drop off locations and respond to any new drop off location requests. We configure a plan to get requested materials out to each of them and then our Marines from our local Marine Corp League drop everything off to everyone who has agreed to be a Toys for Tots drop off location! These requests need to be in by November 1st.

Also, around this time, we receive some inquiries from local businesses who want to host toy drives at their business or large employers want to host events for their employees to raise donations for Toys for Tots.
All of this is possible but it’s all about timing!
You see, this year and as in similar years our campaign comes to an end shortly after we are done getting toys out to those families in need in time for Christmas. We prefer all new toy drives/employer events to be completed by December 3rd so that we can utilize all your great donations you’ve collected for our families who have applied! If December 3rd is too early for you, the final cut off for accepting donations is December 11th. On this date we need to have all our donations at our headquarters.
